OMFG I think i'm in teh "flow"
So yeah, I think i'm in the flow....this is how my day started. I went into work ready to work to finish my deadline today and was informed that there were no computers for me to work on. I found a free computer, was kicked off, found another free one and was kicked off...wow...this really sucks.
Me and a co-worker who also had the unfortunate experience of not having a computer for her to work on were sent out into the world without a purpose..."oh my god...free time, what now".
I was about to catch my bus, and a crazy friend of mine who can make sounds like a squirrel (which i think is pretty neat talent
) came up to me and was like..."hey I thought that was you". So next thing I know, I was invited to her Anatomy class at Dal where she is studying to be a Pharmacist. And what did the Anatomy class learn today?? The BRAIN, and the teacher just so happened to have a real human brain in a jar, also a rat brain too.
GAAH, blaah how gross, but fascinating too!
So I sat through her class "pretending" to take notes and look smart.
After class she took me up to the "Mueseum" of anatomy and body parts gallore. Brains in jars, parts of the brain, a little pig fetus, foots and hands, male/female torso's and gulp* full term fetuses. The most disgusting thing however were the eyeballs GAH GROSS, i can handle the heads in jars and even the "baby in the womb, in a jar" (neat) but the eye balls are by FAR the most digusting thing EVER!! We left and didn't even wait to have to catch my bus...that barely ever happens!
So yeah, I woke up thinking I was going to be sitting in front of a computer all day tracing, instead I wound up learning about the Abulla Oblangata and hypothalmus rat brains...and taking pictures of a cross section of the male anatomy (hmmmm
)
What a day...wonder what will happen next...
